Jaguar I-Pace Safety

The 2019 Jaguar I-Pace basic S trim does not skimp on the safety features. Items like lane-keeping assist and lane departure warning are standard. Other safety features include:

• Optional blind-spot monitoring – to warn drivers of approaching cars in the adjacent lane
• Cross-traffic alert – to alert drivers of oncoming traffic passing in front of them
• Integrated turn signal mirrors

The basic safety features are the same for the 2020 Jaguar I-Pace, but drivers opting for a brand-new vehicle can select one of the various driver assistant packages.

The Jaguar I-Pace interior is everything you'd expect from the brand. Standard interior features of the base trim are elegant and luxurious. A panoramic sunroof and synthetic leather seating is standard, but premium genuine leather is optional. A dual-climate zone that automatically adjusts to the number of passengers in the car is a nice touch. Drivers can get comfortable using an eight-way power-adjustable seating with optional lumbar support. A rearview camera is standard across all trims and adaptive cruise control is available.

There's a lot to be said about the technology sitting both under the hood and behind the wheel. For starters, the Jaguar I-Pace is equipped with two electric motors and a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery. On a full charge, the Jaguar I-Pace has a range of 377 km. Behind the wheel, the Jaguar I-Pace is decked out in in-car entertainment technology and wireless features, such as:

• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• High-end sound system
• Wireless phone connectivity
• Navigation system

Jaguar I-Pace Space

The Jaguar I-Pace seats five passengers comfortably across two rows. Even adult passengers will find ample leg- and shoulder room in the backseat. The cabin is airy and spacious with supportive seats. Because of the low-mounted seats, some long-limbed passengers may feel a bit awkward. As for the cargo space, there's quite a lot of room for a vehicle in the crossover SUV category, but if more space is needed, the backseats can easily fold down. Storage compartments within the cabin—and even under the hood!–are also available.

Jaguar I-Pace Comfort

It's hard to imagine that an all-electric car can be both powerful and comfortable, but somehow Jaguar manages to check off all those boxes. With an impressive acceleration of 0 to 100 in just 4.8 seconds, you almost forget this vehicle is powered by a battery. The Jaguar I-Pace drives smoothly and handles sharp corners with ease. All-wheel drive allows drivers to hug the road in all conditions. A completely silent engine and poised handling make for one smooth ride.
