Jaguar F-Pace Safety

Drivers looking for a low-cost Jaguar F-Pace won't find too many added standard safety features in the 2017 base trim. Safety highlights from that year include integrated turn signal mirrors and daytime running lights. The 2019 refresh comes with more standard specs on the base trim, like:

Lane departure warning – to alert drivers when they're skewing out of their lane

Lane-keeping assist – which moves drivers back into their lane if they start to veer

Starting with the 2018 Jaguar F-Pace Premium trim, blind-spot monitoring became standard.

While the Jaguar F-Pace does lack some of the opulence you'd expect from a luxury SUV, it definitely has its merits. Spacious, comfortable seating—in synthetic or leather—as well as optional head-up display set this SUV apart from less expensive models. Drivers have lumbar support, and all passengers have optional heated/cooled seating. A backup camera became standard with the 2019 release but has been optional since 2017. Drivers and passengers alike can also enjoy dual-zone A/C and a panoramic sunroof.

Fans of the bells and whistles might want to check out the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace, as more features became standard that year, and it also introduced a larger touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto became standard with the 2020 release. While you might have to get used to the sometimes-confusing and glitchy infotainment system, the dashboard has easy wireless connectivity and allows drivers to make calls and listen to their music through a premium sound system. A Wi-Fi hot spot is optional on the base trim beginning in 2019.

The Jaguar F-Pace outshines similar compact SUV vehicles in its class when it comes to overall space and comfort. Passengers of all sizes can sit comfortably in both rows with legroom to spare. Lots of cargo space makes it easy to pack up and head out on long road trips. Taller passengers may feel awkward climbing into the backseat of the 2020 model, but once inside, the comfortable leather or leatherette seats and panoramic sunroof allow you to sink right in and enjoy the ride.

Jaguar F-Pace Comfort

The Jaguar F-Pace has a lot of power under the hood. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine was added to the lineup in 2018, and the SVR trim came along in 2019. The Jaguar F-Pace is agile and zippy and can easily maneuver through sharp corners and all types of weather conditions. Along with spacious seating, the drive is comfortable even on bumpy terrain. All-wheel drive (AWD) is standard across all trims, making it easy to handle slippery surfaces and hilly landscapes.
