Ford Fusion Safety

Since the Ford Fusion's 2006 inception, drivers have benefitted from its long list of safety features, such as:

• Driver and front passenger airbags
• Emergency glow-in-the-dark trunk release
• Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) to enable different size seatbelt systems and easy car seat installation

Recent models feature even more safety features, such as:

Ford has outdone itself in recent years with its standard technology features, like the centre console infotainment and navigation screen called MyFord Touch. The Fusion is also equipped with BlueTooth connectivity, voice-activated navigation, phone dialling and WiFi. Top trim technologies include:

• Rear parking sensors to help avoid collisions
• Active park assist, which helps drivers parallel park
• Rear-view camera

The Ford Fusion's 2.0 L hybrid engine lets you plug in your battery into an exterior outlet. While their hybrid models offer impressive fuel efficiency, they can be rather expensive.

Ford Fusion Space

Drivers and passengers will be pleased with the interior space. Adequate legroom in the back is comfortable for adults to stretch out while they also enjoy the headroom above them. The Ford Fusion has always provided drivers with ample trunk space, with nearly 16 cubic feet of cargo room in some models.

Even since before the Ford Fusion's redesign, drivers have commented on its sporty and smooth handling. Thanks to its spacious cabin and cozy seating, this mid-size sedan is a good candidate for cross-country road trips. If you want to feel more power under the hood, we recommend upgrading to a higher trim that comes with a turbocharged engine.
