Ford Fiesta Safety

The Fiesta has consistently received solid safety ratings. These are just a few of its most notable safety features: 

• Rearview camera for extra visibility and awareness when reversing, available from 2012
• Electronic stability control to improve traction and handling in challenging road or weather conditions, standard from 2011
• Driver-knee airbags for added protection, also standard from 2011

In 2011 models and onwards, Ford's Personal Safety System includes dual-stage front airbags, safety belt energy management and usage sensors, crash severity sensors, and a front-passenger sensing system

Ford Fiesta Interior

On the basic level, the Fiesta’s interior comes with a 12 V front power outlet for charging devices, as well as a steering column that can telescope and tilt to fit the driver’s preferences. Current and previous models have been noted for their clean stylings and the softness of the plastics in the interior.

Ford Fiesta Technology

The Fiesta’s SYNC 3 infotainment centre is known for being responsive and straightforward. It includes a crystal-clear 16.5 cm touchscreen, though voice activation lets you also engage with the system’s features while your hands stay firmly on the wheel.

Available since 2016, SYNC 3 offers route mapping, connectivity with FordPass to compare fuel prices or reserve parking spaces, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Older infotainment systems include MyFord Touch, first introduced in the 2014 Fiesta. Ford’s original voice-activated Sync system can be found as an option from the 2011 vehicle range and up.

Ford Fiesta Space

Although the Fiesta can seat five, the cramped backseat and smaller cargo space make this not the best choice for long group trips. The hatch offers 7.75 cubic metres of space when the rear seats are folded down, and 4.5 cubic metres with the seats up. The 60/40 split means half the rear seat can be folded to make room for a passenger and additional cargo.
