Ford F 250 Safety

The Ford F-250 is a heavy-duty pickup, with an exterior on the latest generation made of lightweight but sturdy, military-grade aluminum. This keeps body weight down and means extra toughness can be added to the chassis. The high-strength steel frame offers extra protection throughout the cabin. Safety goes beyond the bodywork with a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems in more recent models, such as 2017, including: 

• 360-degree cameras that help with parking and towing 
• Adaptive cruise control with collision mitigation, which helps you set and maintain a comfortable speed, in addition to detecting when you're at risk of a collision 
• Lane-keeping alert to warn you if you're veering off track
• Inflatable seat belts—ideal for younger and elderly passengers who are more at risk of head and neck injuries, these inflate in the event of a crash

Older models like the 2008 are lacking when it comes to safety, with no side airbags available. But they do come with anti-lock brakes to help avoid skidding, with rear parking sensors as optional.

Ford F 250 Interior

The Ford F-250 has a comfortable and functional interior. The cabin is roomy, and air-conditioning comes as standard on most models. Current base models also have in-cab tire pressure monitoring and stability control. There are many different trim options available: The Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum. Depending on budget, you can choose to include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated seats.

Ford F 250 Technology

Tech has been a prominent feature in the Ford F-series in recent years, with the latest generations equipping a whole suite as standard. One essential part of current F-250 tech is the Sync 3 touchscreen display. It’s responsive like a smartphone but with enough physical buttons to let you choose how it'll be operated. Newer models from 2017 also have: 

• Adjustable blind-spot detection—its field of view can cover a trailer
• Remote tailgate release
• Tailgate step assist, which is handy due to a tall step-in height

Older models like the 2007 are criticized for being a bit dated, with basic features like AM/FM radio, air conditioning and manual windows and locks. Though, dual-zone automatic climate control is available with the Lariat trim, along with a power-adjustable driver's seat.

Ford F 250 Space

The F-250 has tons of space, inside and out. The cabin can hold up to six people, allowing it to even double as a family car. There is rear-seat and flat-load storage within the cabin, offering flexibility for work and recreation. We’ve already mentioned the generous cabin size, but it’s the huge payload capacity that the Ford F-250 has become known for, capable of reaching 4,000 lbs. Not to mention, it has enough room on the truck bed to be used on the job site.

Ford F 250 Comfort

The Ford F-250 offers a comfortable ride. The engine is responsive and smooth even when carrying heavy loads, and the interior noise is adequately muted. There is also a diesel option at an extra cost. Newer models have updated suspension to provide a smoother driving experience, as some find the ride in older generations stiff, especially with an empty load.
