Ford E 350 Safety

As is the case with many utilitarian vehicles, there are not a lot of added safety features in the Ford E-350. The solid chassis provides a measure of protection. Standard gear on across model years include:

• Anti-lock brakes to provide control in a loss of traction
• Front seat belt pretensioners to hold you down during a collision
• Dual front airbags

Available on models from 2010 is an optional rearview camera for better vantage behind you, as well as a trailer brake controller, which helps you maintain control of a trailer you're hauling by connecting with the vehicle's electrical braking system.

Ford E 350 Interior

Ford’s Econoline van series has been in production since the 1960s, and while the E-350 is crafted from durable materials with a no-frills finish, its interior design hints at a vehicle that has long prioritized function ahead of form. Primarily employed for work purposes, there are not many amenities. Most models have cloth seating in the front bucket seats, with heavy-duty vinyl covering the optional rear seating. The Ford E-350 cargo liner is made from vinyl, making it easy to keep clean. Unless upgraded, the door locks and windows are manual, but all models come with air conditioning for the front area of the cabin.

Ford E 350 Technology

The E-350 is a work truck, and its standard technology confirms that it’s all business. A two-speaker AM/FM stereo system is standard in most models. Additional options on later models from around 2011 and onwards include:

• Sirius satellite radio
• A navigational system
• Cruise control

An MP3 compatible stereo with in-dash CD player is standard on the 2014 model.

Ford E 350 Space

With a regular and extended length wagon, the E-350 box can hold a tremendous amount of cargo or passengers. In the regular length, expect to transport up to 12 passengers, with almost 240 cubic feet of cargo space from the front seats to rear doors. The extended length can move up to 15 passengers and has nearly 280 cubic feet of storage space behind the front seats. Enjoy generous head- and legroom wherever you're seated.
