Chevrolet Express Safety

All models of the Chevrolet Express come standard with an array of basic safety features, such as front, side and curtain airbags, as well as four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes (ABS) to help you safely stop your vehicle in adverse conditions. Additionally, the van is outfitted with StabiliTrak® that automatically intervenes when it senses loss of lateral traction. In later models around 2013,  side curtain airbags, a rearview camera and rear parking sensors are optional.

Chevrolet Express Interior

Available as a cargo or passenger van in 1500, 2500 and 3500 models, as well as in LS and LT Trims, the Express offers Canadians a great amount of versatility. Although brand new Chevrolet Express vans can be outfitted with a variety of equipment packages to best accommodate your needs, older models will vary depending on the vehicle's prior use. 

As the names suggest, the Passenger Express lets you customize seating options for those riding along with you, while the Cargo model features shelves, racks and other equipment storage options to suit the job at hand. Depending on the model, the Express can be equipped with up to 15 seats. However, it’s worth mentioning that no vehicle in this class boasts much in the way of an upscale interior, instead favouring utilitarian design.

Chevrolet Express Technology

Despite being a workhorse, the Chevrolet Express offers very little in the way of basic features outside of safety. However, Express models from later than 2016 have the option of adding Chevrolet’s infotainment system with navigation. This 6.5-inch colour touchscreen display is easy to use and has Bluetooth connectivity to make voice commands easy. 

Older models, like the 2007, are lacking in tech compared to other vehicles in its class, but they do have the basics as standard, such as air-conditioning and anti-theft system.

Chevrolet Express Space

Offered in a range of wheelbases and seating configurations, the Chevrolet Express offers drivers an abundance of cargo space. New standard 2500 Passenger trim models offer a maximum payload capacity of up to 2,557 lbs. If upgraded to a 2.8 L Duramax® Turbo-Diesel four-cylinder engine, the Express is capable of hauling up to 6,300 lbs.

Chevrolet Express Comfort

The Chevrolet Express might not provide drivers with the most luxurious of interiors, but when it comes to space, there are few options that can match the vehicle’s specs. Older models even from 1999 offer a choice of four powerful V8 engines to best suit your needs. Additionally, the 2500 and 3500 Chevrolet Express vans came with a diesel engine option. Recent standard 2500 Passengers provide gas mileage of 21.4 L/100 km in the city and 14.7 L/100 km on the highway.
