The Scion FR-S vs. the Subaru BRZ
The Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ are actually sister cars, developed in partnership between Subaru and Toyota. Built on the same platform, the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ share a similar exterior and interior. Both come equipped with a four-cylinder Subaru engine, rear-wheel drive and six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The tuning on these two cars does differ a bit, with the 2015 and 2016 Scion FR-S offering a slightly stiffer suspension than Subaru BRZ models. The main difference is that the Subaru BRZ is still in production, entering its second generation in 2022.
