The Nissan 370Z is a two-door, two-seater sports car that was produced between 2009 and 2020. It is the 6th generation of Nissan's legendary Z-car sports line and is powered by a naturally-aspirated 3.7-litre V6 engine. Originally launched with 332 horsepower, the V6's output subsequently rose to 350 horsepower with the Nismo special edition. Featuring a 7-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission, the Nissan 370Z is lighter, more rigid and slightly smaller than its predecessor, the Nissan 350Z. This is achieved through extensive use of aluminum in the Nissan 370Z's construction, while its well-appointed interior features a premium stereo and heated/cooled seats, providing luxury as well as performance.
Nissan 370Z versions
Nissan launched coupe, convertible and the upgraded Nismo versions of the 370Z, as well as a number of special edition cars celebrating the Z-car's 40th and 50th anniversaries. The Nismo edition (short for Nissan Motorsport) adds unique 19-inch wheels, stiffer suspension, and larger brakes for improved performance. The manual transmission features Nissan's SynchroRev Match technology, which automatically raises the engine's RPMs during downshifts, ensuring smooth gear changes and optimal performance and fuel economy. The Nismo 370Z launched soon after the coupe, with the convertible version following in 2010.
