History of the Nissan 350Z
The Nissan 350Z is part of Nissan's legendary Z-Series, a line of affordable high-performance sports cars. Considered the fifth generation Nissan Z-Car, the Nissan 350Z debuted in 2002 for the 2003 model year, bridging the gap between the Nissan 300ZX and the Nissan 370Z. The Nissan 350Z quickly won fans with its striking design based on the iconic Datsun 240Z and exciting performance. The Nissan 350Z coupe launched first, designed to rival the Porsche 911 with its powerful V6 engine and fastback shape, followed shortly after by the soft-top convertible in 2004.
