The thousands-strong team built over 450 prototype vehicles, 900 engines and logged 2.7 million kilometers of testing in every climate on earth. The result positioned Lexus at the top. The company became known for engineering excellence and has maintained that reputation to this day. Lexus is known as a quality luxury brand and has added a performance arm with the F marque responsible for one of the finest supercars of recent years, the LFA.
