History of the Honda Del-Sol
In the 1990s, Japanese sports cars were having their moment. This era introduced iconic cars like the Toyota Supra, Nissan 300ZX and Mazda RX-7. Of course, not all cars can be best-sellers. Enter the Honda Del-Sol. Hoping to build on the success of the Honda CRX, the Honda Del-Sol featured a Targa top, front-wheel drive and a decent amount of trunk space for a two-seater. Two versions were produced for the first model year, equipped with either a 106-horsepower four-cylinder engine or 125-horsepower four-cylinder SOHC VTEC engine. In 1994, a sportier option was introduced featuring a 160-horsepower DOHC VTEC engine. The Honda Del-Sol was discontinued after the 1997 model year.

With such a short production period, you can expect to find only minor differences between most Honda Del-Sol for sale. Three trim levels are available: S, Si and VTEC.
